Itinerary
Monday – Kent to Llandudno with a lunch break at Dobbies Garden Centre at Shrewsbury. Tea and scones await us on
arrival with time to relax before dinner.
Tuesday – We head south along the picturesque Conway Valley to Betws y Coed then high over the dramatic Llanberis
Pass to Llanberis Lake for a sightseeing break in glorious scenery at the foot of Mount Snowdon. Relax on a splendid
scenic afternoon journey on the remarkable Welsh Highland Railway on Porthmadog to Caermarthen. We will be
travelling on one of the railways comfortable new diesel trains offering panoramic views.
Wednesday – Enjoy a scenic drive along the beautiful Conwy Valley then high over the Crimea Pass to Blaenau Ffestiniog
in the heart of slate country. Fascinating journey down to Porthmadog on the Ffestiniog Railway. Relax and unwind at
Portmeirion - popularised by The Prisoner TV series.
Thursday – Spend a lazy morning exploring lovely Bodnant Gardens Afternoon at leisure in Llandudno with its impressive
Promenade, stunning setting and elegant shopping,
Friday - Homeward journey including a halt for a roast carvery lunch at Telford
